This VoteWatch Europe policy event in cooperation with the European Policy Centre marks the adoption by the EP and the Council of the Connecting Europe Facility (CEF), an instrument that will allow the EU to finance pan-European infrastructure projects in the fields of energy, transportation and telecommunications. The purpose of this event is to present EU’s policy priorities in the field of energy in the coming years and shed light on the powers that the EP has to shape these. It will also look at the types of political majorities that are formed on this subject matter in the current Parliament and are likely to form in the post-May 2014 elections EP.
