Vilija Blinkevičiūtė, member of the Lithuanian Social Democratic Party (S&D), is the most influential Lithuanian MEP. She is at her second term in the EP, as she joined the institution already in 2009. She was recently elected as the Chair of Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality.
