Un site d’utilité publique (en anglais seulement) a été lancé aujourd’hui à l’initiative de l’Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) et de la London School of Economics: votewatch.eu. Il compile toutes les informations disponibles sur la présence des députés, sur leurs votes, sur le vote des groupes politiques, sur les alliances, etc.Il va, de ce point de vue, infiniment plus loin que Parlorama.eu, un site qui est toujours inaccessible suite aux pressions des députés.

After Enlargement: Voting Patterns in the Sixth European Parliament

In this paper Simon Hix and Abdul Noury look at patterns of MEP voting and party behaviour in the first half (July 2004 to December 2007) of the current European Parliament. Despite the addition of 10 new member states, voting in the European Parliament is still primarily along transnational party lines rather than national lines.
